What is Lipi building?

What do ASR, TTS and OCR mean?
ASR converts speech into text. TTS converts text into speech. OCR recognizes text in scanned documents and images.
Which capabilities are available?
Our work includes applied development in speech, document recognition and contextual knowledge systems. Language research is a separate, longer-term direction. Contact us to evaluate a specific capability and its current integration options.
Which languages are supported?
Coverage depends on the capability, model and use case. We assess the language, dialect, input quality and required output before defining an evaluation. We do not claim universal language support.
Is the homepage example a live AI demonstration?
No. It is a scripted illustration of how context can change meaning. It does not record audio or send content to an AI service.
